Last October I bought an LG cell phone thinking that it would be of decent quality because LG being known for decent quality products. It's only been a few months and my phone is already acting up (softwarewise),and I wanted a new phone as opposed to them fixing mine (what are they going to do? reset it, so I have the same problem, when after the warranty expires?) however, this isn't the reason for this review. I called customer service and reached Delano, who was rude, condescending and ended up hanging up on me. Later that week I called again and I wanted to speak to a supervisor, however the supervisor was only there until 5 and I missed him. So I waited until Friday (the only day where I'm at home before 5 because I work and am a student), called again, reached a representative (don't remember his name) which refused to send me to a supervisor. Literally, I had a 10 minute argument with him about sending me to a supervisor, and he said I was wasting his time (ironic considering it's his job and the argument wasted to minutes of my time). Finally, I hung up called again, hoping to get someone who was actually helpful, and I was lucky enough to reach someone (don't remember the name, might of been Steve?) willing to send me to a supervisor. After being on hold for a little while I reached the suervisor, Victor(Success!). The supervisor was very helpful, he promised to elevate the my case to the Executive team, so that they could make a decision... and we all lived happily ever after....not... After a week of waiting for a reply (they didn't even try to call), I had to call again, to see what was going on. First call- Victor was at a meeting, I'd gave to call later. Second call- the representative transferred me to someone from the exec. team. According to the exec. team member, Good ol' Victor didn't actually send them the case (now that I think of it, I don't know why I was so surprised, undeniably terrible service seems to be LG's thing). Of course, the guy gave me the regular rant about policy and I didn't end up getting anywhere anyway. The only positives out of this experience is that I've learned never to buy LG products ever again and I can now recite LG's warranty policy from memory.
