LG range

I bought a LG range model LRE 3012ST in 2012. One of the large burners will not turn off and was dangerously overheating. There were hundreds of recalls with this exact problem. LG claims my model is not on their recall list. I had to have the burner disconnected. The curcuit board is gone and LG says they no longer make the part. Why would LG sell a range and stop making the part in 4 years.

Even though I registered the purchase on their own site with date of purchase and where it was purchased they wanted a separate proof of purchase. I tried to get Sears to send me a copy of my 2012 purchases but they never did. Today I found a bill from Sears with the price and stove model and my first payment. Just called LG (my case is currently temporarily closed) and waiting for a return call. They have already been completely unhelpful and will offer me some monetary reimbursement based on price and age. What good is that? I have a dangerous range with 3 burners and no way to repair it because LG Quit making this part after 4 years.

I want the range replaced or fixed or a full refund.
