LG's terrible customer service - Untrustworthy - LG Washer and Dryer with matching pedestals
%u2022 Delivery was scheduled for Feb 7, 2015. Time window given (11:30 to 3) confirmed, reconfirmed by email, and again by phone on delivery date Feb 7th, 2015. It was NOT delivered.
%u2022 Contacted LG after conversation with Home Depot %u2013 LG promptly blamed Home Depot.
%u2022 I requested to speak to supervisor because I thought HD was credible, the story was then changed. LG rep rescheduled delivery for Feb 11, 2015. Offered comp of $100 when items are delivered.
%u2022 Feb 11, took the day off work to receive appliances- received time window messages and phone for delivery as 1pm to 5pm. Based on prior experience on Feb 7, called Home Depot to make sure all was in order.
%u2022 Home Depot advised that the appliances were not received from LG for delivery and that LG should have informed me. Contacted LG for status. LG%u2019s rep maintained that the delivery will be made on Feb 11.
%u2022 It took several minutes to convince the rep to look further into the matter and he finally admitted that delivery would not be made as all of the items were not available. Very frustrating to deal this level of incompetency. Note: rep was not rude.
%u2022 Spoke to %u201Csupervisor%u201D, the worse possible customer service experience anyplace. He was belligerent, spoke over me while I was trying to explain to him to look at all the notes. Even more disturbing was that he changed the story by saying that Feb 11 was NEVER a delivery date, that it is Feb 14. He scoffed at the idea of compensation.
%u2022 I am really appalled at the number of inconsistences I experienced in my dealing with LG's customer service. It is a level never experienced before. I spoke to a total of 5 different reps - two in the first delay and three in the second one. Different stories every time, false information - very untrustworthy. This is the first time I am writing a complaint about any company. I do understand that sometimes errors are made and there are circumstances which are beyond control and may result in delays (twice??? in this case). But LG's attitude in dealing with this is very reprehensible and I cannot rely on what most of the reps are saying. It is a huge drag that a company that makes such fine products has the weakest customer service I ever encountered. Now, I am at my wits end not sure what to expect as there is now a delivery date of Feb 14. Very disappointing that I cannot trust customer service. I wasted a day from work based on reliance from LG and my purchases were significant amount .
