Cannot Trust or Rely on LG Customer Service - washer/ dryer


purchased an LG front load washer,a gas dryer with two matching pedestals purchase price close to $3,000.00 on Jan 23,2015 from Home Depot. Delivery was scheduled for Feb 7,time window (11:30 to 3) confirmed, reconfirmed by email, and again by phone on Feb 7th. It was never received. Contacted LG after conversation with Home Depot - very rude, untruthful customer service from LG - they blamed Home Depot. LG then rescheduled for Feb 11- same situation, never arrived - time window given was 1-5, day off was taken from work to accomodate. LG was contacted and insisted it was on the way, even though I asked to double check as HomeDepot advised that it was not on the truck and LG should have informed me - LG's rep finally looked into it and admitted that it still was not shipped. Rep was not rude, just incompetent and ill trained with hardly any knowledge of the product/service etc. "Supervisor" was belligerent provided the worse customer service I ever experienced, he scoffed at the idea of compensation for the inconveniences caused TWICE by relying on LG. It is even more disturbing that he changed the story and stated over and over again that the delivery was not for Feb 11th. He spoke over me when I was trying to explain to look at the notes of all the calls. I am really appalled at the number of inconsistences I experienced in my dealing with LG's customer service. I spoke to a total of 5 different reps - two in the first delay and three in the second one. The reason given for the delay was different from person to person. These inconsistencies are of a level never experienced before. This is the first time I am writing a complaint about any company. I do understand that sometimes errors are made and there are circumstances which are beyond control and may result in delays (twice??? in this case). But LG's attitude was graceless and I cannot rely on what most of the reps are saying. I was looking for assurances that I can definitely rely on the third date given(Feb 14) but based on all the inconsistencies, I am at my wit's end. I never imagined that a company that makes such fine products has the worse customer service I ever encountered. Very disappointing.

Additionally, most reputable companies would typically offer some sort of good faith compensation for inconveniences caused by internal errors, my request for compensation was scoffed at and countered with a nominal amount.
