Rusty stainless refrigerator doors - L g french door refrigerator
Bought a stainless french door LG refrigerator with freezer drawers on the bottom 2 yrs ago. I recently found rust on the edges of the french doors where they are bent around the edge. This is a manufacuring defect. There is no other rust and i only used the approved cleaners. There was no trauma to the area. The punch press must have done this when forming the door. Stainless shouldnt rust. I called corporate and they said " too bad ", its not covered. Poor customer relations...they should replace the doors. A good company always stands behind its product and wants to keep customers. If this isnt fixed, you can be sure, I'll be telling everyone i know not to buy LG.

0 I am having exactly the same problem on 4 brand new stainless steel appliances from LG. I just called LG and they are telling me that it is not a known problem along with what they have told you. I think we should gather more people and make it a known problem.
